Greg
Webber, the mastermind behind Taj Burrow's boards, has made a mark
on surfboard design. This passion for design and high performance
has guaranteed his status as one of the world's highest profile surfboard
designers. The 2006 Webber range maintains its focus on high-performance
surfing, no matter what the conditions.
Afterburner
The Afterburner is a semi-fish, with just enough width
and thickness to increase glide and paddling speed significantly,
without surfing flat like a standard fish.
The slightly lower rocker compliments the width and thickness increases,
and gives the 'on rail' drive to better harness the speed and manoeuvrability
of the loose planshape. The slight single concave at the front foot,
with the softer front rail, gives lift and speed with total forgiveness.
The deeper double concave that runs out through the tail creates the
grip, which gives this design more range than any standard fish.
Fatburner
The Fatburner is the chunky, lower rockered version
of the Afterburner. Although the rocker is pretty flat, it has a very
even curve throughout, which gives flow and feel to a set of proportions
which can otherwise have limited use.
the single to double concave is even more sculpted than the Afterburner,
so that the volume isn't all that you feel. This is a small wave board
with low speed glide and high speed hold, and as a result, much more
range than you would expect. |

Compact
Disc
The Compact Disk (or "CD") is the smallest in the Magic
Series. The CD is the same design as the longer Magic models, it's
just shorter. It has had an excellent response from surfers of all
sizes, but the larger-framed rider who needs maximum flotation in
a small board will love the CD. The CD is lots of fun for the younger
surfer too. In good surf, the CD works great. And in sloppy surf,
it's better than a conventional shortboard. You can even noseride
on it! A true short/longboard and Walden original

Mini
Magic
TA scaled-down version of the popular Magic Model, the Mini Magic
board performs as well in slow surf as it does on speedy beach breaks.
While the Mini Magic is smaller than the regular Magic model, it still
maneuvers well out of turns and has a forgiving nature. This board
also has excellent nose riding capability. An all around fun board!
